Map of Brazil. We entered Brazil in a smuggler's car at Iguaçu Falls. (A helpful policeman at the border offered to get a 'safe' car to take us from the border to our hotel; once we were through the border the driver turned down a long back alley and into the yard of a warehouse where he and his partner virtually ripped the car apart, removing smuggled goods. Fortunately they took us to our hotel after they were finished unloading!) After seeing the Falls from the Brazilian side AND the Argentinian side, we headed east to the coastal city of Curitiba. From there we bused up to Rio de Janeiro from where we flew home.
