The top of the mast of the sailboat, as it is about to exit through the opening gates. We had a great time at the Canal, spending about two and a half hours over the noon hour watching the boats go through. Sue spent the afternoon shopping and I went and had my hair cut. In the evening, after supper, we sat and watched Larry King Live and heard that we weren't the only Canadians who had been robbed -- apparently two Canadian figure skaters were robbed of their gold medal at the winter olympics! The next day we fly off to San Juan, Puerto Rico, and then caught a flight on a small plane to the island of Tortolla in the British Virgin Islands for a couple of weeks in the Caribbean.
