While in Antigua, one day Sue and I took a day off from our Spanish studies and took a van for a 5 hour bus trip to the Honduran border, to see the Mayan ruins at Copan. We left at 5:00 am and returned around 8 in the evening. It was a great little outing, and we enjoyed it very much.
