September 28, 2001 – Ulan Bator
The National History museum provided an insight into the remarkable and unique history of Mongolia. We especially enjoyed the music, including the unique Mongolian throat-singing acts. And then to end the show, this little young girl came on stage and began to contort herself on top of a little table in the middle of the stage. She ended up more or less sitting on her own head, spinning plates on top of long sticks with both hands. Then, after the end of a perfect evening, we boarded the train bound for Siberia. |
