The last 30km proved to be a very easy cycle into Crescent City, California.
We had cycled for 7 days plus a rest day, from August 2 - 10. We spent the night in Crescent City, then rented a van that we drove through the Redwoods back to Astoria. We dropped off the rented van and picked up our van, then drove to Portland for night. Werner and Karen flew home the next day (August 11), and Rudy and Sue continued their adventure south along the coast.
