August 14, 2007 -- Socialist era public art monument commemorating the 1300th anniversary of Bulgaria built in 1989 in Sofia crumbles. Park-goers must be protected by temporary barriers. Some tribute to 1300 years! Graffiti is the new public art -- seen everywhere in the city. Walking through Borisova Gradina Park you can't help but notice this giant broken-down monument.
