To get to the Trekker Hostal where we were to spend our night, we had to climb up the stairway to the urban area of the terraces, following the stairs off to the right. We then passed a series of Inca baths and followed the trail right to the hostal. Helsby pointed out the hummingbird shape of the Wiñay Wayna ruins. We followed the pathway around the mountain and came to our final destination for the first day. We arrived at the Trekkers Hostal at around 4:00 pm. The hostal had a large building with basic dormitory-style bunk beds.
