January 17 - We took a 2 day trip from Quito up to Ibarra. After getting pick-pocketed on the way to the bus station and nearly robbed again on the bus! we got off at Ibarra and went walking in search of a hotel. We stopped at this pollo (chicken) restaurant for a cold drink and ended up making friends with the owners.
