Valle de la Luna. Situated just 30 minutes from the center of La Paz, this impressive work of nature is one of the most impressive sights just outside of the city. After years of erosion, wind and water has cut and carved out a delicate paradise within the stony landscape surrounding the city, that gives the impression of a lunar landscape or a vast labyrinth of rocky spirals.
