| Sunday, August 18 Charlottetown to Strathgartney 60 km (37 mi.) We started our PEI tour in Charlottetown, a city that has an important place in Canada's history. The birthplace of Canadian Confederation, it is an attractive, small city. Our bags are piled up and ready to be loaded onto the truck. (That's our big red MEC bag, which contains all our camping gear, in the foreground. The smaller green bag holds all our clothes.) |
