Yarmouth to Barrington 96 km (60 mi.)

Our Nova Scotia vacation begins. We start at the far western tip of the province. A sea port for several hundred years, we depart from where the passenger ferries arrive from Maine. We follow the Atlantic Ocean coast. Known as the "South Shore", this is perhaps the best known part of Nova Scotia, with many attractive fishing villages, rocky coasts and lighthouses.

Rudy & Sue. Luckily the wind was at our backs for the first 3 long cycling days.
