Newfoundland Cycling Tour 2001

Sue at the most northern tip of Newfoundland, near L'Anse aux Meadows.

Wednesday, July 18 - Pistolet Bay to St. Anthony 79km (49 mi.) Our last day. We cycled to L'Anse aux Meadows, site of the discovery of Viking life in North America (a UNESCO world heritage site). From here we cycled to St. Anthony, the end of our tour. Rudy fell off his bike here, and broke a couple of ribs. After supper and a night in the hotel at St. Anthony, we were trucked back to Deer Lake.
