Newfoundland Cycling Tour 2001

In Woodstock, NB, after setting up our tent, we went cycling for the evening. Sue met up with a vicious dog that had the misfortune of getting in her path as she cycled up a hill. Sue "t-boned" the dog and went flying into the roadside. We don't know how the dog fared (he got up and howled in agony as he ran for his life), but Sue scraped her shoulder, bruised her knuckles, and ended up with many black and blue spots, though nothing serious enough to prevent her from further cycling. We got the bike fixed at a local cycle shop the next morning and carried on.
