Our next stop is at the Trapiche Winery. This has become Sue's favorite wine here in Argentina. Unfortunately there are no tours here today, so we take a photo at one of the gates to the vineyards and carry on. It must be time for lunch. We opt for the Lonely Planet Guide recommended lunch stop at a place called Almecén del Sur. It's at least a kilometer off the main road, but when we arrive we park our bikes at the dedicated bikesandwine bikestands and are ushered to the back yard where there are several tables set up. This is fancy! A pretty little girl comes to take our order. We opt for a chicken and potatoes plate that we will share. It's only 50 pesos and we add a couple of cold beers to wash it down. We are hot and Sue is already complaining about her butt. We're not finished a quarter of the cycle route! We finish our meal and cycle back the kilometer before turning south again down Urquiza, the main street.
