8/2/04: At O'Connors Pub, we shared a table and an evening of conversation with these cyclists from Chester, England. Polly, the woman on the left, was midway through a 5-week cycle around the perimetre of Ireland. Her daughter, a dancer from her dance school, and a fellow teacher had decided to join her for this leg of the journey. And what was our supper? Mussels, chips, and Guinness.
