For about 5 months of the year, Agios Nicholas becomes one gigantic resort town, taken over by the package-tour groups who stay in beach hotels along the adjacent coast and come into town to eat, shop, and stroll. All along the edge of the lake and the harbour are little restaurants and bars which become one long nightclub at night!
