4/2/04: This wasn't the first time that Sue and Rudy were entertained by a travelling salesman who boarded the bus for a few miles and assaulted the weary passengers with the wonders of his merchandise -- in this instance it was a computer course of some sort that was the 'hot deal'.
We had a little fun crossing the border back into El Paso, when border officials tried to convince us that we needed to go back a long way around and pay $20 each to get a stamp in our passports. We finally just marched across the walking bridge, got a taxi back to the hotel we'd stayed at a week earlier. The next morning we flew to Fargo, where our car had been waiting at the Best Western Kelly Inn. We went out for supper at Red Lobster, and next morning we drove back up north to Canada. A nice way to get away for a week!
