4/1/04: After breakfast at the Mirador, we went into the nearby village and negotiated in our limited Spanish for a ride to Divisadero, from where we were hoping to catch a bus to Cuauhtemoc. If we would wait for the train, it might be 4:00pm before we could leave Barrancas, and that would get us into Cuauhtemoc too late. For $10 we got a ride in this pickup truck, and arrived in Divisadero just as the bus to Cuauhtemoc was about to depart. Perfect timing.
