| May 18, 2002 - We joined Marina (on the right) and her brother Rohan (on the left) for a weekend drive to the country. Rohan would also be making the crossing. Our destination this weekend was the town of Montague, about 180 kms from Capetown. Rohan obviously enjoyed driving his BMW, so the drive didn't take us very long. Along the way, in Robertson, we stopped at a lovely garden for lunch. Sue and I stayed at the Avalon Springs hotel for the night and enjoyed a late-night dip in the hotsprings. Rohan and Marina were at their cousins, visiting for the evening. The next day we decided to continue our drive down to Knysna and visit Ferdi and see how the work on the boat was progressing. |
