Monday, May 13, 2002 - FINALLY! we met some of our sailing companions. Carol (center) and her boyfriend Arthur invited Sue and Rudy to Carol's flat for supper. We were joined by Marina (on the left) and Carol's friend Haley (second from right) for a meal of lamb stew and rice and wine. It was becoming clear that Ferdi, our captain and organizer of the crossing, was NOT going to be arriving in Capetown anytime soon, and that the boat renovations were way behind schedule.
