June 11 -- Why would a town promote itself as "The Blizzard Capital of Saskatchewan"? We stopped for a photo before heading to the Kenaston Café for lunch. We said good-bye to the Gatineau couple who were heading south to Regina from here; we planned to take Hwy 15 east to Nokomis. After fighting a miserable headwind for about 10 kms we found out our road was under construction and there were long sections of soft gravel ahead. We turned back and took the road south to Regina as well.
