We stopped to put on our rain gear -- it was VERY cold (7°C) and when we turned north on Hwy 81 we faced a 60km/h headwind. And we had to cycle uphill, climbing to the second highest point between the Rockies and Labrador (over 1100 meters). We averaged 8km/h for the next 20kms. Not a fun morning!
