After the ‘snack’ Rudy and Sue got on a customized tourist wagon along with about 20 other people from our group. Then we were pulled by a small tractor along a winding path that took us through the estate’s ‘ecological reserve’. At one point the wagon stopped, the driver opened a gate in a wire fence, we drove in, the driver closed the gate, we drove about 20 meters into the ‘cage’, stopped, the driver pointed out a small deer off to our right. The deer wasn’t moving; people began to ask ‘infirme?’ (is it not well?) The driver threw a chunk of a log at the deer, it jumped up and ran to the other side of the cage, the driver drove to the exit gate about 30 meters up, opened the gate, drove through, closed the gate. That was the ecological reserve!
