Rudy had an ice cream cone, the monkey had a banana. This is just before the entrance to the Monkey Forest in Ubud. We'd read warnings about monkeys trying to steal purses, food, glasses and hats. Just inside the entrance a couple of smaller monkeys thought they might share Sue's ice cream cone. Sue claimed to 'not really like' monkeys. Halfway down the path a monkey made a run at Sue's purse. She yelled at him in Canadian, "Go AWAY!" He didn't understand her accent. We rolled up her purse so that it wouldn't look like a bag and the monkeys wouldn't attack her anymore. Other tourists were not so lucky. Three or four monkeys climbed one guy's back to get at his hat.
