North to Alaska - Summer 2002

A trip with our friends Ed & Val, sharing their motorhome.

July 20 -- Revelstoke, BC.  The mini-lesson on 'what happens if someone goes overboard' proved to be more than just a token safety talk. After Ed took a little 'refreshing' dip in the water, Rudy too got a gulp or two of the river water when he fell backwards off the raft during a fun skirmish with one of the other 2 rafts in our tour. While it didn't take long for me to fall INTO the water, the water temperature was quite an incentive for a speedy exit back into the raft.
