Wednesday, November 06. We woke up to this spectacular sunrise in Tadapani. We had spent the previous night sitting around a large table in the lodge. The table was draped in heavy wool blankets, which trapped the heat provided by several charcoal-burning braziers below. It had rained and even snowed for a while the previous afternoon, so we were all very cold, but the heat from the braziers and the company of fellow travellers around the table kept us warm for the entire evening. |
