And out on the dock there was a cage with 2 pelicans inside, one male pelican sitting atop the cage, a hawk looking on from the side and another hawk just behind the column. No one could explain to me (in English) what was the point of this arrangement, though we saw similar displays at several of the huts we sailed by.
