| Monday, November 18. Back in Bangkok for a day before we would leave on our Lao trip, Sue and I headed for the Grand Palace. We walked there from where we were staying at the New World Hotel. Here behind me you can see four main monuments on the upper terrace: the golden Ccdi, the Mondop, a miniature Angkor Wat, and the Royal Pantheon. |
