September 28, 2001 – Return to Ulan Bator

We stopped when Rudy thought he spotted a black bear. Bears are found in this area, and David, our guide, was quite afraid. Still, it seemed strange that the cows and horses were not alarmed, so Rudy went to take a closer look.
