We listened to music (thanks to Paul & Shirley's MP3 music system with external speakers -- our favorite albums were "Essence" by Lucinda Williams, "Love and Theft" by Bob Dylan, "Ten New Songs" by Leonard Cohen, and of course a good selection of Van Morrison albums). We read more books, shopped a little, ate too much, and lived like kings for one week.
