The terrain varied throughout the day as we made our way south. Here we saw vast grasslands and fenced-in pastureland, where a recent rain had made the driving a little more interesting. A couple of ostriches run away from the camera -- ostrich meat is delicious and very popular in South Africa. Actually ALL meat is popular with South Africans.
