Bird Cottage, Franschhoek. This was the living room. The ladder on the right leads to the loft. The library is next to the window, and in the corner is a small TV. We could get 4 TV channels with the use of the rabbit ears. Two or three of the channels switched to programming from CNN after 11:00PM so we would sometimes keep in touch with what was going on in the rest of the world by watching late at night or in the early morning.
