7/9/04: We left home at noon on Wednesday, July 7, 2004. After a long layover in Toronto, we flew Air Transat to Shannon via Dublin, Ireland. We arrived in Shannon at 12:30pm on August 8, picked up our Budget car rental, and headed to Killarney. We settled into our B&B, 2 kms out of the town. We headed to a nearby pub for supper. The next day we took a walk into Killarney. This photo shows some of the shops in the town of Killarney, with the steeple of St. Mary's Cathedral in the background.
