February 15 - 23, 2002.
Sailing in the British Virgin Islands with our friends Reg & Ingrid, Bob & Dorothy, and Robert & Arlene. We rented two 41-foot sailboats from Sunsail, and spent a week sailing in the Caribbean waters. Rudy and Sue flew from Panama City and the other three couples flew from Winnipeg. We all spent a night at the Prospect Reef Resort in Tortola before we boarded our sailboats. Our first morning we provisioned the boat: all 8 of us spent several hours in the grocery store and then crammed all our "eats and drinks" into a shuttle van.

The photos are not in order but here is a brief itinerary:

  • Feb. 16-17 (1 night) we were moored at Maya Cove.
  • Feb. 17-18 (1 night) we moored at Little Harbour.
  • Feb. 18-20 (2 nights) we visited Virgin Gorda.
  • Feb. 20-22 (2 nights) at Sopers Hole.
  • Then Feb. 22-23 (1 night) back to Little Harbour for our last night before returning the boats to Maya Cove from where we transferred to the Arundel Villa.
