It got quite cold at night and Sue and I had our long underwear on and had to take turns getting up in the night to stoke the fire in our stove. We slept on these hard wooden benches, with only some woolen blankets as a mattress, and covers that were too short. Left to right: Rudy, Sue H., Sylvanna, Trisna.
