After our wine tour we went to the Haute Cabrière Cellar Restaurant.

Situated high above the village on the pass into the splendid Franschhoek mountain ranges, dug into the mountain, the cool restaurant is truly part of the cellar.

We enjoyed several superb lunches here. This photo is taken from the entrance to the 'cave', with the town of Franschhoek in the valley surrounded by mountains.
